PROJECT SUMMARY: The two-story 41,000-square-foot Academy for Creative Media (ACM) facility at the University of Hawaii, West Oahu (UHWO) was a design-build project to provide students with hands-on experience in the creative media industry. Features include a 100-seat theatre, outdoor LED screen with amphitheater seating and state-of-the art technology for audio visual equipment. The architectural design provides an open-air feeling with natural lighting that foster interaction and collaboration environments to engage, educate and incubate students.
