PROJECT SUMMARY: Little Plum, originally a bank space, is a Japanese restaurant that blends traditional and modern design elements. The interior features muted, neutral grey tones with Koa wood accents on the bar top, ceiling beam, and wall base. Traditional kimonos and Japanese paintings hang on the walls, adding vibrant splashes of color.
The bar highlights a collection of international liquors displayed on salvaged Koa wood shelves, set against a muted floral wallcovering reminiscent of Japan’s famous cherry blossoms. The open kitchen concept includes a front counter, allowing guests to watch the chefs at work, similar to the experience in traditional Japanese sushi or ramen restaurants.
