Relocation of Communications and Academy of Creative Media

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Date Completed: August 2020

PROJECT SUMMARY: The goal of this project was to relocate the School of Comm and the ACM programs back on the UH Manoa campus (into the Sinclair Library). This project improved the campus experience at UH and provided students with flexible spaces for learning and collaborating. This project was part of the larger conversion of Sinclair Library into a student success center. The relocation of the School of Comm and the ACM to Sinclair Library involved moving the programs and materials to Hamilton Library. To accommodate displaced Sinclair Library archives and Wong A/V materials, new partitioned
spaces were constructed at the 1st and 2nd floor of Hamilton Library.
