PROJECT SUMMARY: The Sheraton Waikiki Hotel is a premiere hotel located along the ocean in the heart of Waikiki. The hotel completed a major renovation to update the hotel’s branding which included the lobbies and common areas. The owners came to Next Design to provide them with a fresh design approach for their suites to merge with the newly renovated hotel. Each suite encompassed breathtaking views of either the mountains (mauka) or the ocean (Makai). The challenge was to create a timeless design with flavors and textures to complement the landscape of nature.
